Six years ago, plans were underway to develop an apartment complex on the site of Yuuhisai Koudoukan. The plans were suspended, and our building is safe for the time being.
We are now calling for donations to assist us in continuing our activities and in purchasing the land and the historical building, so that we may preserve it and continue to pass on the wonders of Japan’s traditional culture.
Yuuhisai Koudoukan is a public interest incorporated foundation ran solely on private funds. To be able to preserve our tax-exempt status, it is crucial for us to gather donations from at least one hundred donors this year.

*There is a 3.6% +40 Yen fee for donations using PayPal. For example, if you send 3148 Yen, the actual amount that goes to Kōdō-kan will be 3000 Yen.
